Scan it.
Stow it.
Find it.

StowCue connects the things you own with scannable cues you already have—or ones you create. Reuse QR codes and barcodes, organize containers, find stored items, share what matters, and keep personal information off the physical label.

Your labels shouldn’t expire just because their original purpose did. StowCue gives ordinary codes another job.
THE STOWCUE IDEA

Turn the physical world into something you can search.

A cereal-box barcode, an old event QR code, a code you print yourself, or another identifier can become a cue that points to information in StowCue. The code is only the key—the meaning is yours.

01

Choose a cue

Reuse an existing QR code or barcode, scan supported text identifiers, or create a fresh StowCue identifier.

02

Give it meaning

Connect the cue to a container, item list, location detail, or personal note that matters to you.

03

Find it later

Scan the physical label or search inside StowCue to jump back to the right container or information.

MORE THAN A BOX LIST

Built around the way storage actually changes.

Containers get renamed. Items move. Labels get replaced. More than one person may need access. StowCue is being built for that reality.

QR

Reuse existing codes

Repurpose QR codes and barcodes from packaging, flyers, old labels and other everyday objects.

#

Multiple identifiers

One container can have more than one identifier, so you are not locked into a single physical label.

Move items

Reorganize without starting over. Move items between containers as your physical storage changes.

Create & print labels

Generate new identifiers or build printable pages from codes you already use, including choosing which identifier to print.

Scan or search

Use the camera when the container is in front of you, or search when the item is what you remember.

Backup & recovery

Data and backup tools are designed to help protect your organization work and recover cleanly when the app restarts.

PRIVATE CUES

A code can mean something only you need to know.

Sometimes you do not want the information itself sitting on a sticky note, label, desk, shelf, or monitor. StowCue can let an ordinary identifier act as a personal cue: the physical code stays ordinary while the useful meaning lives in your StowCue setup.

01

Keep the meaning off the label. A visitor sees a QR code or barcode—not your personal note.

02

Use the same idea beyond storage. Personal reminders, reference notes, instructions, or other private context can be tied to a cue.

03

Your code is the pointer. StowCue does not need to change what the printed code originally was to give it a new purpose.

Private Cues describe the privacy of the physical label. Detailed security protections and supported sensitive-data use cases will be documented before release.

USE WHAT YOU HAVE. PRINT WHEN YOU WANT.

StowCue does not require a proprietary label ecosystem.

Start with codes already around you. When you want cleaner labels, create new identifiers or lay out existing ones on a printable sheet. If a container has several identifiers, choose the one you actually want on paper.
